POSITIVE WEEKEND FOR BIRCHALL RACING AT LE MANS

Birchall Racing have enjoyed a strong opening round to the 2019 FIM Sidecar World Championship held at Le Mans, France, finishing fourth and claiming valuable championship points. Despite an issue slowing their pace in the latter stages of the race, the team came away from the meeting having set the fastest time in every session, including a new race lap record. Records  to go this weekend at KDM Hire Cookstown 100

As circuit preparations are well under way for this weekends KDM Hire Cookstown 100, given decent weather, its looks certain that lap records will be broken. The club undertook a phase of resurfacing  at the problematic Braeside  and Craigmount corners. With this re surfacing, along with the re positioned start finish area, Michael Dunlops  six year old  lap record of 91.48 mph could well be broken.
