Weather Stops 10th Anniversary ‘Race of Legends’ Races

Practices and racing at Armoy took place on Friday 27th July but Saturday’s nine race programme was abandoned due to the horrific weather conditions. On Friday evening, Magherafelt man Paul Jordan claimed his first victory of the 2018 road racing season in a dramatic Supersport race. Mullinger rider Derek McGee took four wins out of four starts at the ‘Race of the South’ at Walderstown, round 12 of the Duke Road race Rankings Championship 2018. James Cowton, 2014 Duke Road Race Rankings Champion entered all three races at the Radcliffe’s Butchers Post TT Road Races, round seven of the 2018 series, held on the challenging 4.25-mile Colas Billown Circuit in the south of the Isle of Man.
