As circuit preparations are well under way for this weekends KDM Hire Cookstown 100, given decent weather, its looks certain that lap records will be broken. The club undertook a phase of resurfacing  at the problematic Braeside  and Craigmount corners. Loughshinny Motor Cycle Supporters Club are delighted to announce that 18 times Isle of Man TT winner Michael Dunlop, will be the star attraction at the forthcoming Country Crest/Des D’arcy Motors Skerries 100, that will take place on Saturday and Sunday 7/8th July. Record breaking win in Bennetts Lightweight TT Race puts Michael Dunlop third on all-time TT winners list

Michael Dunlop took a record breaking win in the Bennetts Lightweight TT on Wednesday afternoon at the Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy with the Paton rider smashing both the lap and race records on his way to his 18th TT win. It may not have been the best of Cookstown 100s, thanks to the changing weather conditions, where a spate of spills forced the organizers to abandon the 96th running of this unique event.
