NW Racing finished off the 2019 Isle of Man TT races on a high, with team rider Shaun Anderson taking an excellent 12th place in the Blue Riband Senior race and a best lap of 127.547mph. The first race was the shortened Superbike and Shaun finished in a creditable 20th place, while in the Superstock race, Shaun came home in 16th place.
It was a tough TT for all concerned, with the amount of laps done before Senior equivalent to 2 nights practice from the previous year, unfortunately nothing can be done about the weather.
Noel Williamson; “Shaun’s times improved each time we went out and despite a problem with rear shock which we were unable to rectify fully before the Senior race. I fully believed he would retire after 2 laps but Shaun was determined and rode brilliant to come home in 12th. He took no chances, and Shaun really is a fantastic rider and a pleasure to work with”
“It’s great to be back at the sharp end again and I am very proud, to say the least, of my wee team, that was led by Stanley Gamble who’s just a class act. Massive thanks also to Kevin Gibson and Martina for all their help. This year’s TT wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the following sponsors, JB22 Crane Hire, Process Print in Santry. BMW Motorrad. Morrison BHP, and Online Store
Shaun Anderson “We suffered from the lack of practice but that was cancelled out by a strong performance by the BMW, and the only thing that held us back was the suspension. The engine never missed a beat, and we got stronger as the week went on, and our speed went up to almost 128mph. If the Senior was an eight lap race I reckon I could have finished in the top ten”
“Stanley did a marvelous job with the bike and we have lots to go forward with and I am really looking forward to the Ulster Grand Prix. A big thanks also to Noel for all his hard work and effort in getting the work done for me”
